Dustin is a Commercial Insurance Specialist at Community First Insurance. He has been with CFI since 2018. Dustin takes pride in growing the commercial book of business each year. He is also proud that their office is very diverse and continues to grow and meet the needs of the community.

Before CFI, Dustin spent three years with Cellular Sales, a third party for Verizon. Before that, he was with Pure Acquisitions Inc.

While with Pure Acquisitions, Dustin was fortunate enough to participate in a management development program, where he grew and owned three stores.

Dustin coached representatives to sell and promote Direct TV inside retailers like Sam’s Club, Walmart, Menards, and Best Buy.

This is where, Dustin says, “sales found him.”

Dustin’s previous life was as an opera singer who sang internationally. He holds a Master’s Degree in Opera Performance from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Morehead State University, where he also threw shot put and discus for their track team.

Dustin loves to spend time with his family, wife Abbey, son Alexander, and, of course, his boxer Shadow. Their favorite thing to do as a family is go to the UK games and cheer on the football cats, but “We love all things UK!”
